A Tip to Speed up Waiting List Time:
Contact the Appts Office or the Consultant’s Secretary to which your case has been subsequently assigned and:
- leave a mobile number or e-mail address and
- state that you will be prepared to attend at short notice should another patient cancel or DNA (did not attend; this still occurs in up to 20% of OPD appts despite the pressure on waiting lists)
