Our treatment room is available by appointment Monday – Friday at the following times:
- 08:50 – 13:00 (last patient taken at 12:30)
- 14:00 – 17:00 (last patient taken at 17:00)
Services available without a GP Referral
- Care of leg ulcers
- Cervical smears
- Dressings
- Health education/advice Removal of sutures
- Weight checks
Services available where a GP Referral is Required
- Blood tests
- ECG
- Holiday/routine vaccinations
- Minor injuries
- Nebulising
- Peak flow checks
- Pregnancy testing
- Urine testing
- Warfarin checks
- Weight checks
- Minor surgery
Specialist Services
We are pleased to be able to offer the following services:
- Contraceptive and maternity services are available by arrangement.
- Cervical smears are carried out at our special Smear Clinic or in the Treatment Room where our nursing staff are fully qualified to carry out the tests.
- Ante-natal care is provided during normal surgery hours. (Please see the links below relating to Self-Referral to the Midwife)
- Mothers who are discharged from hospital within 48 hours may have continued supervision at the practice.
- Children’s vaccinations and developmental assessments are performed in normal surgery hours. (Click the link above to download the vaccination schedule)
- GP Diabetic Clinic – available by appointment.
- Asthma/COPD Clinic – available by appointment.
- Smoking Cessation Clinic – available by appointment.
Antenatal Clinic
Weekly clinics are held with the Midwife on Wednesday mornings between 09:00 and 12:00.
The Health Board has recently changed the booking procedures for new antenatal appointments. Patients are now required to Self Refer to the Midwifery services in a hospital of their choice. There are 3 hospital choices available:
- Northern Trust: Antrim Hospital – Antrim Hospital Self Referral to Midwife
- Belfast Trust: Mater or Jubillee Hospital Maternity Referral
- South Eastern Trust: Lagan Valley Self Referral Form
